S.KB4 HOUSE
Quiet Luxury in Talbiya.
An intimate Jerusalem apartment defined by privacy, light, and quiet elegance.
Located in Jerusalem’s prestigious Talbiya neighborhood, this apartment was purchased by a Boston-based couple as a frequent vacation home, with the long-term vision of becoming their future permanent residence. Managed entirely remotely, the project required a highly precise and detail-driven process to ensure every aspect was carefully executed.
This dual purpose shaped the entire design strategy, creating a home that embodies the relaxed elegance of a refined getaway today while remaining fully practical and adaptable for future everyday living. Rather than focusing on large-scale entertaining, the apartment was designed around a more intimate way of life, prioritizing privacy, comfort, and ease.
Spanning 156 m² with two terraces of 11 m² and 34 m², the apartment is filled with natural light throughout the day. Floor-to-ceiling windows open the interior to the surrounding greenery, allowing nature to become an integral part of the home and softly blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
Privacy played a central role in the design. A hidden door was seamlessly integrated within the kitchen, allowing the private quarters to be completely separated from the public areas when hosting guests while maintaining a refined balance between openness and seclusion.
The material palette reflects a commitment to timeless quality and understated elegance, featuring natural parquet flooring, natural stone, and seamless resin finishes. Together, these materials create a calm, harmonious atmosphere that feels both refined and effortless.
The result is a quiet, intimate home that feels deeply personal and precisely tailored, designed not only for the way the couple lives today but for the life they are building for the years ahead.
